            Covenant Village retirement community of Northbrook, Sales and Marketing Rep

Pre-contact marketing, including on and off site presentations and meetings followed by initial prospective customer contact, tours, family meetings, qualification are only a small part of my overall duties to close sales in this beautiful retirement community. My sales closures and total customer contentment after sales are true testament  to my ongoing career sucess.

            Marina Cay Resort, B.V.I., Hotel Manager

Responsible for all aspects of the hotel operation on Marina Cay including reservations, guest communications, maintenance and appearance of rooms and villas, and management of support staff.  In addition, assisted Island Manager of Marina Cay in the general operation and running of the island.

            Long Bay Beach Resort, Tortola, B.V.I., Retail Sales Manager

Opened the Gift Boutique and Delicatessen at a full-service resort in the Caribbean.  Responsible for all aspects of store management including sourcing and buying local merchandise, establishing new relationships with vendors, developing profitable pricing policies, designing store layout and merchandising, hiring and managing sales assistant.  Other contributions include representing and promoting the resort to guests by suggesting activities and excursions and problem solving guest issues to make their stay as enjoyable as possible.

Responsible for guiding and counseling prospective residents and their families through all aspects of the application and admissions process to gain entry into the Lutheran Home, one of the largest and most respected long-term healthcare organizations in Illinois.  Conducted personal, one-on-one interviews assessing needs, gaining qualifying financial and medical information and essential marketing data.  Conducted tours for all levels of care.  Qualified candidates and matched room vacancies to meet and exceed budgeted census goals.  Represented Lutheran Home at numerous local marketing functions, community organizations, senior health fairs and affiliated churches.
